A walk on the beach.

The Mayan Palace is on the shore of the Sea of Cortes. When the tide goes out the beach is about the length of 2 football fields. The hard rippled surface is so easy to walk on. Then is the area with all the little holes where some bugs or creatures crawl out of. Next is the area where all the shells are deposited, then the softer sand and then a super fine sand. It was so much easier to walk on the sandy area there than it is on the Lake Michigan sandy beaches. The sand must be deeper in MI and probably doesn't have the hard base. We had wonderful early morning walks before the sun got too hot. I don't like to spend much time in the full sun.
