Last Saturday.

Phil attaching the gate to the doorway (with no door!!!)to the basement. We tried it with just the pressure thingies but it didn't seem too secure. Sure wouldn't want the little one to be chasing each other and falling down the stairs. They do well on the stairs when they keep their mind to it but giggles, showing off and chasing worry me.
Here we are with our new granddaughter and two great grandchildren.
Bill, Soren and Anya.
We had a good time Saturday. The weather was good so we could be outside and Marcos and Anya had lots of running space. Linnea took a 2 hour nap in her new pop-up little tent. Jill and Missy's husbands, Sean and Damian, did some yard work for me. It probably would have taken me a week to get done what they did in a couple hours. Damian also mowed the lawn for Jerry since he can't walk very well on the uneven yard. I don't do the mowing. That has always been Jerry's job but I do all the other yard stuff. A number of my friends love to mow the grass but the exhaust gives me an instant headache. So does the blower so I sweep or rake. It is funny how we all fall into certain responsibilities in a family.
