Or any other varmint. My Starbucks friend's 23 year old daughter did just that and ended upside down in a rain swollen ditch this week. She was able to wiggle out of her seat belt. The car was full of water and her feet were stuck in 2 feet of mud...through the sun roof! Fortunately a couple men came along in their trucks and saw the upside down car in the ditch They were able to stabilize the car and then get C out. She was taken to the hospital and after she was cleaned up (mud from the top of her head to her feet) she only had some cuts and bruises.
God was really watching out for her. Think she had half a dozen angels on her shoulder!! It is so scary to think about all the "what ifs". Many prayers of thanksgiving were said this week. C is such a bright, warm, loving and fun young woman. She is blessed to be able to continue to be that person everyone loves.
The car was totaled and the air bag didn't go off. The police figured it was because she wasn't driving fast and it was a "soft" crash into the water and mud.
So, please don't swerve for a rabbit even if there are no cars in sight.

Oh dear....thank heavens that she was fine. I am sure that your first reaction is to swerve to avoid anything. It is hard to not do something like that. I am so happy that it all turned out fine for her.
My goodness, HE was watching over her. We never know what we are going to face or what tomorrow holds.
